A Culinary Journey of Cheese...
Now entering it's 9th season, the Carr Valley Cheese cooking classes continue to be taught by renowned chefs and cooking instructors. Each deliciously unique dish features one of our handcrafted, award-winning cheeses. Classes are held March through October in our state-of-the-art demonstration kitchen at the Carr Valley Cheese retail store in Sauk City,WI. Whether you enjoy great food, have a passion for cooking, or simply love tasting artisan cheese, our cooking classes will surely delight you!
What to Expect at a Carr Valley Cheese Cooking Class:
Chit Chat & Cheese: Up to 15 minutes prior to your class, mix and mingle with fellow cheese lovers at our self-serve tasting station featuring a variety of artisanal cheeses. Please note: the Chit Chat & Cheese is optional.
Cooking Class: Watch the chef cook for you! Expect 2 1/2 hours of casual and delicious fun in a classroom-style setting. Your chef will create generous, multi-course tastings for you from his/her menu. You will also be able to enjoy 2 glasses of wine at this time. In addition, you will go home with all of the chef's recipes so you can recreate your own culinary journey!
Post Class: Join your class members to shop for your must-have Carr Valley cheeses and go home with lots of ideas, culinary contentment, and a smile on your face!
Cancellation Policy: A credit will be issued for any class that you need to cancel 24 hours before the scheduled date & time of the class. The credit is good for another class or anything in the store. Cancellations within 24 hours of the class are nonrefundable, weather permitting.
