Door County Summer Delights with Janice Thomas of The Savory Spoon, Door County, WI: Thursday, June 7th 6:00-9:00 p.m.
The Savory Spoon Cooking School was founded in 2004 and is located in a charming, historic school house built in 1879 in Ellison Bay, Door County, Wisconsin. As Chef and instructor, Janice invites you to Carr Valley Cheese to indulge in Summer Delights of Door County. Janice has over 20 years experience in the food industry. In addition to owning her own catering company for 14 years, she has also taught cooking classes all over the country. Studies at the renowned Cordon Bleu in Paris and with well-respected chefs in France, Italy and China have enhanced Janice’s repertoire. In this class, Janice will make Sweet Pea Hummus on Handmade Cheese Crackers, Fresh Garden Greens with Avocado Mousse and Tomato Relish, Asparagus with Smoked Salmon Grabiche, Pork Loin Stuffed with Onion Marmalade, Pancetta, and Spinach, & Panna Cotta with Rhubarb Compote and Honey Glazed Apricots. Note: This class does start at 6:00 p.m., not 6:30.p.m. like the other classes.
